Setting up your iPhone/iPad/iPod to control your monitor mix

Unless you're using one of the P-16M headphone monitors, your monitor mix will be fed from a mix bus on the X32. You can control your own monitor mix using the free X32-Q app on an iOS device (iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch).

Install the X32-Q app from the app store and make sure you're connected to the TrinityTech Wi-Fi network.

Launch the app and input the IP Address of the X32, which is 192.168.1.200. Click Connect.

Choose which monitor mix you'd like to control. They will be labelled in the app.

You can adjust the overall volume of your monitor with the fader you see when orienting your device vertically.

When your device is oriented horizontally, all of the channels should be accessible (swipe to see more) and labelled (on the scribble strip), adjust the faders to your taste.

And that's all you need to do. Don't worry, you won't be affecting the Front of House (main) mix from this app.

(Optional) You can also assign groups of channels to MCA (Mix Control Association) groups. This will allow you to adjust the group with a single slider when your device is oriented vertically.

Swipe left from the main fader to see the MCA faders (or wheels if that's your preference).
